Sigmund Droid, de Brooklyn, surprennent par leur son tape-à-l'oreille, entre punk rock et arrangements électroniques subtilement bourrins. La pochette de leur EP (voir ici), des éclaboussures de peinture autour d'une empreinte digitale brisée, peut être interprétée comme une identité éclatée. Et qu'est-ce qui peut détruire une identité davantage que certaines parties? D'où un "I don't want you to goooo" répété dans cette chanson. L'EP Maximum Grind est partagé en deux: 1) la partie "let's go to the disco" 2) la partie "hungover" (laquelle manque par endroits de tonus).

Man, You just made my day. I haven't heard anything from Sigmund Droid since hearing 'Liverpool Sluts' in 2007.
